Currency and Exchange Rates

]project-open[ is built to accommodate a wide range of pre-existing currencies, the introduction of new ones, and data-entry for billing/invoicing in diverse currency formats, with automatic equivalencies to the system's target locale currency.  ]project-open[ has been designed for use in companies that cross both financial and political boundaries to do business.   

Accounting Rules and Practices differ widely between countries.  ]project-open[ does not attempt to conform/customize to the highly specialized and ever-changing financial legislation of any specific country.  We have chosen to make our software compatible with country-specific accounting software to solve this problem.  See Integrated Software

Integration with Exchange Rate Server

An integration with an Exchange Rate Server exists as part of the ASUS  service. This service allows you to keep your exchange rates up to date at any time without manually entering exchange rates.
